Williams High Orchestra
The orchestra program at Williams High School is one of the most rewarding electives students can choose. Whether you play the violin, viola, cello, or bass, the program offers a welcoming and enriching environment to grow as a musician. Students perform in four concerts throughout the year and participate in the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation. The orchestra also offers opportunities for community service, travel, and special performances. There are two ensembles available: the WHS Symphonic Orchestra, open to all orchestra students, and the Williams String Orchestra, which requires an audition. The program is led by Ms. Villarreal, a dedicated director committed to helping students succeed and thrive through music.
“The language of music is common to all generations and nations; it is understood by everybody, since it is understood with the heart. ”
